It was able to maneuver the legs of a chair, tiny spaces and even the base of an IKEA wooden step stool. It was a bit slower on flooring that was not fully covered but it was able to recover speed and was more efficient than the other robots we have evaluated.

The IQ is a better option over the iRobot Roomba 694 for most applications. It has a larger dustbin, a longer battery life and is more adept at navigating around obstacles. It comes with mopping tools that are able to remove sticky mess. The iRobot, however, feels better built, has fewer components that require maintenance or replacement, incurs less recurring costs, can create virtual no go zones using its companion application. It can even resume the cleaning process from the point it started if it has run out of battery before it has completed the task. The iRobot can also be controlled with voice, which can be an advantage for many users.
